Think Green

The future depends on the sustainable work that we all do today.

As a responsible group of companies, Ethos has been analysing our businesses’ impact on the environment during our daily operations and as we source and sell products and services. At the start of 2023, we will share our plan for carbon reductions to 2030. Of course, that plan will continue to evolve and will be supported by a robust communication platform at all levels of our business and to all of our stakeholders.

Our promise as a responsible group of companies and employers is to commit to and work towards our sustainability agenda becoming fully embedded in how we do business – an organisation with a continued responsible, sustainable culture, embracer of change and collaborator of ideas.

Partners

Our Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, goes beyond our core business. We always seek to work with business partners and providers with the highest commitment to sustainable business practices.

Footprint

Wherever possible, we minimise our environmental footprint, reducing waste by focusing on used packaging management, recycling and energy efficiency.

Employees

At the heart of our Environmental and CSR policy are our team. We educate and train our 200-plus employees to ensure they are up to speed on the latest regulations and that sustainability and social responsibility remain central to everything they do.

Business

We review and audit our activities regularly to measure our performance and, by setting company-wide objectives at the board level, ensure compliance across our whole business.

Customers

All our services and solutions are designed with the highest commitment to the environment in mind. Additionally, our solutions’ entire audit trail helps inform and support our customers’ sustainable practices.

Environment

We have committed to reducing our environmental impact and believe that organisations are responsible for achieving good environmental practices and should operate sustainably. We work hard in this area to continually improve, supported by our ISO14001 accreditation. 

Community

Building mutually supportive relationships with the broader community is essential to us. At Ethos, we actively participate in charitable giving and encourage our team to get involved.

Charity

We were delighted to be awarded Corporate Partnership status with SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity. As part of our partnership, we pledge to actively work on an array of nationwide fundraising activities in the name of the charity.

Support

Here at Ethos, we encourage all staff with direct family members working within the NHS that pay professional fees to share the opportunity to be supported by our business. We see the benefit of helping the families of our employees. We will consider the payment of professional fees for NHS-employed staff who are direct family members of our employees.

Employer Supported Volunteer Day

Ethos Group have implemented one paid day per year for all employees to volunteer within the community, at a charity or cause close to their hearts. Employees are encouraged to embrace this opportunity and share the success of their excellent work done to inspire others.

Ethos is passionate about embracing and helping all employees to feel socially involved, encouraging them to get active and positive about charitable work, building different skills and achieving personal satisfaction.

NHS Professional Fees of direct Family Members

Ethos Group have recognised the vast sacrifices that NHS workers have made since March 2020 and continue to make daily. Also, to recognise the significant amount of support that families of NHS workers give.

NHS workers of direct family members of Ethos Group can apply for support to pay their annual professional fees as a token of thanks for their sacrifice in the great work they do for us all….we are so grateful!
